The History of Labor Day

Picture
Our community continues to change over time.  Nothing ever seems to stay the same.  Even when buildings are old and no longer used for their original purpose, these buildings can be used for new purposes.

Such is the change that is happening at the old high school in our city.  It is now being turned into a movie studio!  Shows, such as Granite Flats, are already being filmed here and more will be coming, in addition to restaurants and other shops.  It will be a 40 million dollar project and will create over 1,000 new jobs.

Perhaps one of you will work in this new development one day!

Here is an artist's rendition (artist's drawing) showing what the new Granite High School Development will look when finished.  Can you see the brand new building in the background?  Can you see the movie-making equipment in the forefront?
